The Agentzia Press Archive consists of files kept by its co-founder and editor, Jochen Gerz. The archive contains correspondence, manuscripts by various authors (including typescripts, original graphics, photocollages, photographs, exhibition catalogs, and some published material), some production materials of the Agentzia Press and monographs and serials associated with Agentzia authors.

Abstract

The "Agentzia" publishing house was founded in 1968 by Jochen Gerz and Jean-François Bory. The Agentzia Press Archive consists of files kept by Gerz. The files contain correspondence, manuscripts (including typescripts, original graphics, photocollages, photographs, exhibition catalogs), some production materials of the Agentzia Press, and monographs and serials associated with Agentzia authors.

The Agentzia Press Archive is organized into: correspondence (in alphabetical order by surname); manuscripts (typescripts, graphics, photocollages and other original work; in alphabetical order by surname); Jochen Gerz production material (in alphabetical order); Agentzia production material; monographs and exhibition catalogs (in alphabetical order by surname); serials; and anthologies--cataloging in processs (in alphabetical order).

The Agentzia Press Archive was acquired directly from Jochen Gerz in 1973.
