Abstract
The Outsider magazine edited and published by Jon and Louise Webb of Loujon Press served as a vehicle for the early writings of avant-garde authors and Beat Generation poets of the 1960s such as Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gary Snyder, Charles Bukowski, William Burroughs, Charles Olson, Louis Zukofsky, Norman Mailer, Diane DiPrima and Henry Miller.
Arrangement
The alphabetical listing of authors and individual cards in the manuscript file indicate in which of the issues works appeared. The collection is arranged by issue so that all material for each appears in its own alphabetical sequence. No inventory exists box by box.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
These manuscripts and production files are at Northwestern because the Library and Special Collections offered financial support to the Loujon Press for many years.
