Custodial History

The collection appears to have been worked on after Colonel McCormick's death, as a list of file folders accompanied the material when it was turned over to the Tribune Company Archives in 1973. The folder for "Allan, R.T. (Aviation)" was found to be empty when it arrived at the Tribune Company Archives. The following folders were listed in the earlier list of folders, but were not present in the collection when it arrived at the Tribune Company Archives: English, Maurice; European editions; Wright, Fred

Immediate Source of Acquisition
