Schmon, president and general manager of The Ontario Paper Company and one of the original five trustees under the will of Colonel McCormick, reflect the thinking and planning of those involved in the establishment of the museum from its original conception in the fall of 1956 to the museum's dedication ceremonies held at Cantigny on August 19, 1960.
