Abstract

This series contains information about Robert R. Although some materials date as early as 1903 and as late as 1976, the bulk of the collection dates from the years immediately following McCormick's death: 1955-1959. These materials appear to have been collected by William A. Larson, chief accountant for the Chicago tribune, who served as comptroller for the Robert R. McCormick Charitable Trust and the Cantigny Trust.

Arrangement

When discovered among the unprocessed Tribune Company Archives materials, the material included in this series was contained in five boxes. Two of the boxes contained files in neatly-labeled tabbed folders. The remaining three boxes contained miscellaneous information, which was not always labeled. The materials are described largely as found.
