Abstract The papers of Harold F. Williamson, Sr. (a member of the economics faculty at Northwestern University) fill seven boxes, and span the years 1926 to 1987. They illustrate the process of writing business histories, from proposal to publication, and the teaching of economic history over six decades from the 1920's into the 1970's.
