Dennis Brutus (1924-2009) Papers
Dennis Brutus, poet and South African expatriate, was an activist, working for an end to racial segregation in sport. He joined Northwestern University's faculty in 1971, and left to joint the faculty of the University of Pittsburg in 1986. The Dennis Brutus Papers comprise correspondence, papers associated with specific organizations and events, and numerous drafts of poems, both handwritten and typed.
Budget and Resources Advisory Committee Records
The BRAC records document the budget making process, especially during the years 1978/79 through 1980/81. Records include correspondence, reports, supporting documentation and general materials.
Virginia Buettner (1917-2004) Collection
The collection consists materials reflecting Virginia Buettner’s social activities while a student at Northwestern University (1937-1942): pages from a scrapbook, and loose artifacts.
C. M. Clay Buntain (1876-1927) Scrapbook
The C. M. Clay Buntain Scrapbook documents Buntain's activities at Northwestern between 1894 and 1902. It includes newspaper clippings (from Chicago newspapers such as the Tribune and Herald as well as from student publications), programs, and announcements, arranged in rough chronological order. A few items from the 1890s were added at the end of the scrapbook.
Russell D. Burge (1892-1980) Papers
The papers of Russell D. Burge (a member of Northwestern University's accounting department, and an writer of fiction) consist mainly of drafts of Burge's five novels and thirty-three short stories, plus biographical material and correspondence.

Ali Bulent Cambel (1923-2014) Papers
Ali Bulent Cambel joined the Northwestern University faculty as Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in 1953. His research involved mechanical engineering, gas dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and propulsion systems. He holds the patent on flame stabilization in jet engines. The Ali Bulent Cambel Papers fill two and one half archival boxes and include biographical materials, publication drafts and correspondence, and a teaching file.

Records of the Campus Commission
In the first decade of the twentieth century, Northwestern University became concerned with developing a coherent architectural and landscape plan for its Evanston campus. This series documents the efforts of the Campus Commission to solicit and select a comprehensive design. While most of the records date from the period 1909-1910, the series also includes two 1905 letters from Daniel Burnham and George Maher's 1907 study.
