Author and playwright Paul Ableman was born June 13, 1927, in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. This collection of typescripts is comprised of the drafts for Green Julia, including the original typescript, three subsequent versions, and the final script.
Agentzia Press Archive
The "Agentzia" publishing house was founded in 1968 by Jochen Gerz and Jean-François Bory. The Agentzia Press Archive consists of files kept by Gerz. The files contain correspondence, manuscripts (including typescripts, original graphics, photocollages, photographs, exhibition catalogs), some production materials of the Agentzia Press, and monographs and serials associated with Agentzia authors.

Hans Christian Andersen Awards
Since 1956, the International Board on Books for Young People has presented the Hans Christian Andersen Award to a living author or (since 1966) illustrator who has made a lasting contribution to children's literature. The McCormick Library’s collection of materials for the Hans Christian Andersen Awards consists of the biennial informational dossiers submitted by candidates for 1992-2006, clippings, reviews, and dust jackets by some of the authors or illustrators.
Archival Collections - U.S. Civil War Era
The McCormick Library has several collections that contain correspondence, diaries, and other materials related to the Civil War era. Some materials describe the experiences of soldiers during the war, or who served in the territories; others document the “home front” trials and anxieties, and some provide reflections or analysis after the war.
Armory Show, 1912-1915
The Association of American Painters and Sculptors held their First International Exhibition at the 69th Infantry N.G.N.Y. Armory from February 15 - March 15, 1913. It was the largest exhibition of international modern art ever held, showing more than 1200 pieces.

The archival data in this collection consists of bibliographical annotations of various editions of volumes containing drawings by Aubrey Beardsley. It includes annotated excerpts or photocopies from Beardsley bibliographies, holographic notes, a completed typescript for a book, and a copy of the typescript annotated with corrections and additions.
Berkeley Folk Music Festival Archive
The archive of the Berkeley Folk Music Festival Archive (held 1958-1970 on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley) consists of some 30,000 items, including photographs of folk artists and groups, general photographs of Festivals, tapes, press clippings, correspondence, publicity information on various performers, posters and flyers. Included are some photographs and posters from other area music festivals.
Harvey Breit Correspondence
Harvey Breit, poet, playwright, and interviewer, was a reviewer for the New York Times Book Review from 1940-1965. This collection consists of more than 225 pages of correspondence sent to Breit during this period by more than fifty authors and public figures.

This collection describes the construction and initial testing of the Tribune Company's paper mill at Thorold, Ontario. The collection consists chiefly of correspondence among Robert R. McCormick, president of the Tribune Company, Warren Curtis, Jr., who designed and supervised the building of the mill, and other executives of the company.
