Qudsia Khurshid Holozada Ahmad (1912-2009) Papers
Qudsia Ahmad (1912-2009), born in Palestine, was recognized as a poet and worked as a radio broadcaster for the Palestine Broadcasting Service (PBS) before moving to the United States in January 1948. Residing in Forty Fort Pennsylvania, she was an active member of the local community and often lectured about Islam or Palestinian culture to educate the community on these topics.
Benjamin H. Baldwin (1919-2005) Papers
The Benjamin Baldwin Papers, spanning the period 1956 to 1984, are arranged in two subseries: correspondence, and teaching files. These are Baldwin's personal papers, documenting his career as a teacher at Northwestern University. Records relating to his involvement in the journalism section of the National High School Institute as well as the administrative records of the Medill School's Editorial Department have been separated and treated as distinct collections.

Joan Wagner Beck (September 5, 1923-December 11, 1998) was a columnist and trailblazer at the Chicago Tribune, where she was the first woman with a regular column in the editorial or op-ed pages, the first woman in charge of a daily section and the first woman to serve on the paper’s editorial board.

Joseph Carl Blade received the bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 1955 and the Master of Science degree in Journalism in 1956, both from Northwestern University. Rance Crain attended Northwestern University from 1958-1960, graduating with a degree in Journalism from Medill. He was President of his family-owned publication company, Crain Communications, and served as editor-in-chief of Advertising Age and several other publications. The Papers include his columns for those publications as well as his notes and research, and span the period 1956-2015.

Marilyn Greene (1945- ) Papers
Marilyn Judith Greene is a journalist and media consultant. Her papers comprise 36 boxes documenting early life and her career with Gannett Inc. and USA Today, including reporting around the world with Al Neuharth's JetCapade, covering the George H.W. Bush White House, reporting on the Gulf War (Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield); interviewing foreign dignitaries; and covering the aftermath of natural disasters.

Documenting the career of reporter and journalist Eloise Henkel (1923-1995), the collection spans the years 1948-1974. The majority of the material dates from 1967-1970, when Henkel spent significant time in Vietnam and Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. In addition to many article drafts and photographs, there are also clippings of her published work as well as correspondence.

Robert H. Lefley (1927- ) Collection
Robert Lefley received Bachelor of Arts (1950) and Master of Arts (1951) degrees in journalism from Northwestern University. He held positions with WFMT-FM, Northwestern University, the Chicago Housing Authority, and Inland Steel Industries. The Robert Lefley papers are contained in twenty-six boxes. Spanning the years from 1936 to 2015, the bulk of the collection dates from the 1950s through the 1980s; it largely reflects Lefley’s work with Chicago-area print and broadcast media.

Chicago journalist and author Robert (Bob) McClory wrote about race, class, and religion after graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1971, where he later taught. His Papers (1970-2014) include biographical materials, teaching notes, research notes, and drafts of articles, as well as many of McClory's published articles from periodicals and newspapers.
Robert E. “Bob” Mulholland (1933-2021) Papers
The Robert E. “Bob” Mulholland Papers (1933-2021) spans 1950-2016 and contains four boxes of biographical and career materials documenting Mulholland’s service as a reporter in the Korean War and his broadcast news career, including his tenure as president of NBC. Select materials also cover his early reporting as a recent graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and his later return as faculty to his alma mater.
