Abstract

The Philip Brickman Papers consist of research papers, essays, stories, and other work produced during elementary and high school, 1949-1960; undergraduate materials, 1960-1964; graduate school materials 1965-1968; and a small amount of correspondence and publications from his tenure as an instructor and assistant professor in the psychology department at Northwestern University, 1970-1978.

Abstract Byron Claude Mathis joined the Northwestern University faculty as assistant professor of education in 1956 and was promoted to associate professor in 1960. Abstract

The report which constitutes this series was produced as an evaluation of the Behavioral Science I course offered through the Northwestern University Medical School Department of Psychiatry's Undergraduate Education Program. The evaluation, dating from circa 1976 and based on a form designed by Nancy E. Remley and Francois E. Alouf, utilized small group discussions in addition to large group presentations and survey instruments.
