Abstract This Series is comprised of photos from the National High School Institute summer programs in Business, Education, Engineering, Journalism, Music and Speech. The bulk of the photos date from the years 1950-1970. There are class photos for many of the years. There are also photos of students in the classroom, in the lab, and on trips into the city of Chicago. The photos are organized first alphabetically by program, then chronologically, then by size of photos.
Abstract The Speech Program’s section of the National High School Institute is the largest division in the High School Institute at Northwestern. Abstract This series fills eleven boxes and spans the period 1973-1987. Included are evaluations of students enrolled in the Institute's Radio-TV-Film/Communicative Disorders, Forensics, and Theatre Arts (formerly known as Drama and Interpretation and Performance and Production) divisions. The evaluations assess each student's skills through both standardized and narrative formats.
