Theodore Stone (1895-1962) Papers
The series includes one folder of general biographical materials and four volumes of Stone's notes from School of Law courses. Bound after the completion of his studies, the notes are found in a loose alphabetical arrangement by course subject or title. They are handwritten and meticulous and represent a record of the School of Law curriculum during the early twentieth century.
Wilson Stone (1927-2020) Papers, circa 1945-2005
Wilson Stone (1927-2020) was a lyricist, composer, conductor and pianist. He wrote for the Waa-Mu Show as a Northwestern University student. After graduating, he worked as a composer in New York City, where he wrote industrial musicals and composed lyrics for Paramount Studios.

Student Life Chapin Hall Files
Chapin Hall was erected in 1901 on property owned by Northwestern University, with funds provided by Dr. O.K. Pearsons. Pearsons stipulated that the new dormitory at 726 University Place be put in the charge of the Women's Educational Association to house up to 60 financially disadvantaged women. This series consists chiefly of records of Chapin Hall's financial transactions from 1968 to 1975.
Student Photographers, Color Negatives
The series consists of 35-mm color negatives made by Northwestern University student photographers, from approximately 1993 to 1996. At least some of the student photographers whose work is included here were affiliated with the Northwestern annual, Syllabus.
Student Protests and Strikes at Northwestern University
The Student Protests and Strikes Collection consists of diverse materials that document political demonstrations and protests organized by students, spanning from August 1965 through October 1979. Each event included in this collection documents a segment of the history of Northwestern students' political activism.
Records of the Student Senate
The Records of Northwestern University's Student Senate (1960-69; replacing the Student Governing Board (1933-1960) and itself replaced by the Associated Student Government (1969- )), include complete minutes, memoranda, committee reports, correspondence, brochures, press releases and newspaper clippings.
Student War Council of Northwestern University Records
The Student War Council of Northwestern University was founded in the summer of 1941, and began its activities immediately following the outbreak of World War II. The records include the its constitution, the constitution of the Illinois Collegiate War Council, and minutes and committee reports of the Student War Council of Northwestern University (1941-1944).
The Study Club, 1896 - 1970
The Study Club, a women's literary circle, met weekly from 1896 - 1970 for the purpose of "study and mutual improvement." It was based in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Each year the group selected a topic for study and each member then wrote an extended paper about a facet of the topic. At each meeting one of these papers was read to the group.
