Abstract
The papers consist of a typescript draft, with minor editorial revisions and corrections, of Masters' biography of Chicago attorney Levy Mayer (1858-1922). The book, Levy Mayer and the New Industrial Era (New Haven, 1927), was Masters' first full-length biography.
