Scope and Contents U/858-4. ; This shows a fine specimen of the White Fulani Breed of cow at the Department of Animal Health Experimental Livestock Farm near Accra, Gold Coast.  The hump is a characteristic of the Zebu type of cattle found in many parts of Africa and Asia.  When in good condition the hump is hard and firm but when out of condition the hump is soft and flabby.  Bullock hump is considered a delicacy by many people.  The cows are not high yielders by comparison with Eurpean breeds of Dairy...
