Abstract The Arthur J. Goldberg papers span the years ca. 1961-78 and fill 43 document boxes. The papers consist primarily of Supreme Court case records from the Court's October Terms, 1962 through 1964. The remaining records pertain to Goldberg's administrative affairs while on the Court, and to his involvement with numerous community organizations, civil committees, and scholarly institutions. Abstract

Harry Olson graduated from Northwestern University's Law School in 1891. He served as Chief Justice of the Municipal Court of Chicago from 1906-1930. The Harry Olson papers date from 1906 to 1940, and include biographical, correspondence, and subject files, with correspondence comprising the bulk of the series. This series represents the surviving portion of a larger body of papers, half of which were irretrievably damaged by mold, damp, and vermin.

Abstract These are primarily Sprecher's judicial records from his eleven year tenure on the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. The Sprecher Papers, filling 71 boxes and spanning the period from 1971 to 1984, are arranged in eleven subseries: biographical materials, general correspondence, subject correspondence, minor judicial activities, speeches, court cases, rules, petitions, cases assigned, articles, and supplemental materials.
