Abstract
Charles S. Braden joined the faculty of Northwestern University as an assistant professor of history and literature of religions in 1926, becoming associate professor in 1936 and professor in 1943. His papers fill fourteen boxes and are arranged in three principal groups: biographical materials, correspondence (the bulk of the collection), and publications.
