Biography

Eric L. Kohler, Professor of Accounting at Northwestern University and a Chicago accountant, bought the small soft ice cream dispensary and luncheonette in Homestead, Florida, known as “Freezo,” on October 2, 1953. Local managers ran the business for Kohler. Freezo suffered a variety of problems and Kohler sold it in 1957.

The correspondence is primarily between Eric L. Kohler and his Lawyers, managers, and agents. The financial records document services, supplies, and other business expenses.
