Biography
Julia Patricia Murphey, of Little Rock, Arkansas, entered Northwestern University's College of Liberal Arts in 1940 and graduated in 1943. While at Northwestern, Patricia Murphey was very involved in student activities. She was a member of the Delta Delta Delta social sorority, joined the campus YWCA, served on the Student War Council, and was named a member of the Mortar Board, the senior women's honorary society.
In 1944 Murphey married Northwestern student Skipper Rostker (Class of 1944). The couple had four children.
Murphey Rostker died October 31, 2011 in Monrovia, California.
