Also known as: South Africa-U.S. Higher Education Forum Planning Meeting. Sponsor: U.S.-South Africa Binational Commission. Harris role: Attendee. Some of the materials refer to "Higher Education Forum," for which a planning meeting was held on 1997-07-29 (in main conference program; also separate agenda). Harris is not listed in conference documents as Howard's representative, but notes in Harris' hand show that he did attend.
