Scope and Contents
The Humphrey Winterton Collection of East African photographs is comprised of about 6,500 photographs organized in 75 primary collections of separate albums, scrapbooks or loose collections. Primary collections range from a single photograph to a set of several photograph albums plus envelopes of loose photographs.

1 album (1 album, 26 p., 24 x 31 cm.) : Oblong quarto (31 x 24 cm.), containing numerous silver prints (mainly snapshots) of various dimensions, mounted on 15 card leaves (the remaining 15 leaves are blank). The majority of images are captioned; a few images a little faded; contemporary black half morocco, cloth sides; covers worn and rubbed.
Abstract
Apparently the record of a safari to British East Africa and Uganda during which the compiler stayed with the Aubertin family at their farm and went on a hunting trip.
