The Humphrey Winterton Collection of East African photographs is comprised of about 6,500 photographs organized in 75 primary collections of separate albums, scrapbooks or loose collections. Primary collections range from a single photograph to a set of several photograph albums plus envelopes of loose photographs.

1 album (1 album, 29 postcards, 17 x 12 cm.) : Octavo (17 x 12 cm.), containing 29 half-tone images in postcard format, joined in concertina style, with a printed map as endpapers; original embossed paper covers, with an image of African soldier inlaid on the upper cover.

Contains souvenir postcards of Mits'iwa (Massawa), Asmara, Keren (Cheren), Akordat (Agordat), Adwa (Adua), Mendefera (Adi Ugri), and Aksum (Axum), and portraits of Eritrean people.
