Reception au palais du Sultan, Zanzibar
Scope and Contents
Includes portrait studios of various people from Zanzibar, Comoros, and Madagascar. Several photographs taken outside the studio depict the Sultan's Palace in Zanzibar, other landmark buildings, and various scenes in and around Zanzibar. All but two photographs have penciled captions written in French and a few have captions on the verso, which have been noted. The detailed descriptions were added during compilation of the inventory.
