Location: Nigeria

The Dayspring, under Captain William Balfour Baikie, wrecked on the Juju Rock near Jebba on October 7, 1857. John Hawley Glover was a surveyor on the expedition. According to Gazetteer of Ilorin Province, p. 50, the remains of the Dayspring were at that time (1921) displayed at the railway station in Jebba

Originally contained in an envelope (6N:15:t/DW_02784) with the caption "Yola. Bob & Ilona (?)"
