General
Location: Nigeria
The Customs Wharf area is at the left, with the H.M.S. Nigeria and another ship at dock. The Marina runs diagonally from the lower left edge (the Leventis store under construction, Elder-Dempster and the Compagnie française d'Afrique occidentale can all be identified). Broad Street runs from the lower edge near the right corner into the center of the image: the twin towers of Arch Cathedral Bethe are visible on the left (south) side of Broad; further along on the right (north) side of the street are St. Paul's Church Breadfruit and a branch of the Société commerciale de l'Ouest Africain). Ijora lies on the far side of the harbor
