Five Cowrie Creek runs across the foreground, MacGregor Canal up the left. Creek Hospital ("European Hospital") is to the left of the center of the image, with police barracks behind it. Fish ponds lie at the right edge. Duckworth's house at No. 4 Onikan Road is the roof across the road above the left end of the fish ponds. Behind it, beyond a playing field, is Saint Gregory's College
