You are entering the Harbel arear of the FIrestone Rubber Plantations ; This is one of two plantations which have 10,500,000 rubber trees planted on 80,000 acres ; 25,000 men are employed to produce 50,000,000 punds of crepe rubber and concentrated latex annually. ; On these plantations there are - 10,000 houses ; 2 hospitals with 200 beds. ; 3 club houses. ; 2 golf courses. ; Churches and schools. ; 195 Miles of roads. ; A modern telephone system. ; A 3000 Kilowatt Hydro-Electric power plant. ; The United States - Liberia Radio Station. ; A brick plant and modern factories ; Laboratories and service facilities. ; We hope your visit will prove both interesting and enjoyable.
