Inscribed: 'photograph copyright by E.H. Duckworth' stamp (type 2); in ink: "6"; typed label with text: "A Yoruba woman loading yams into a dug out canoe. Yams cost 6d each and are a very popular and nourishing item in camp food. The pots in the foreground are made by African women potters and cost from 6d to 1/- each. The canoe has been carved from one big log of wood"
