Inscribed: in black pencil: "1358/72"; in black pencil: "(3607)"; handwritten label with text: "Kano. An alternator [?] of the Kano Emirate electric light & water scheme. Many of the emirates & native administrations require African engineers, civil, electrical & mechanical"; instructions for reproducing the image
