Label for Nigeria magazine, dated 4/4/1939, attached

Inscribed: in ink: "(70)"; typed label with text: "A Bauhinia a garden shrub with delicate pale lemon-coloured, almost white flowers measuring about 1 1/2" long. This shrub is easily grown from seed. The two halves of the leaves close together at night time. The genus Bauhinia is named after two famous botanists of the sixteenth century, the brothers Johann and Casper Bauhin, the formation of the leaves being symbolic of the united work of the two brothers.
