Scope and Contents

This sub-series contains Larson's collection of maps, which includes commercial maps, missionary maps, and reference maps of places such as Africa and Mauritius, and various regions and districts in Madagascar. This series also contains born-digital materials, including photographs of computers showing Google Earth. Locations of maps includes places such as Amboasary-Atsimo, Anosy, Antananarivo, Fort-Dauphin, Ranomafana, Ranopiso, and Sainte-Luce.

There are no restrictions on use of the materials in the department for research; all patrons must comply with federal copyright regulations. 76 born-digital files in this collection containing sensitive information have been embargoed until 2053.
