Front of the safari. A pretty sight. All the boys wear Karki shorts, blue worsted jerseys with M.T. & Co. worked in red and red blankets rolled into a turban on which they put their loads.

This is really a large herd of game leaping the river at sunset. They are some 200 yards off. The black spots on the skyline are wildebeast or [unintelligible]. Some light specks can be seen under the cross but the whole picture is really a moving mass.
