Photo taken inside of the Bursar's Office. Michael Smith, Steve Colson, Dan Davis, & Eric Perkins from left to right. After going underground with Andre Bell to identify possible entrances into the Bursar's Office through tunnels, they obtained chains and locks to secure the doors from inside the Bursar's Office. They are inside the Bursar's office wrapped in some of those chains in the photo. There are also 14 images of the band, The Life and Death Situation, the only jazz band at NU in the late 1960s. Steve Colson was bandleader (piano, alt sax); Chico Freeman (trumpet); Tony Porter (= seen on piano in this set of pix); Clovis Semmes (conga); Mario McHarris (percussion); Kevin Dixon (electric bass); Tony Boynes (drums); Roland Person (manager) - not shown.
