Daily Northwestern clippings, 1914 - 1971
Scope and Contents
The Hermit and Crow Collection consists of one half-box of papers, the vast majority of which span the years 1915-1922. The collection contains clippings concerning Hermit and Crow or its members that were aggregated from The Chicago Tribune and publications of Northwestern, including The Daily Northwestern, the Syllabus yearbook, and The Purple Parrot. The general file includes a copy of the constitution of Hermit and Crow (probably from 1915) as well as a few pieces of correspondence and book photocopies that pertain to Hermit and Crow. Two Hermit and Crow show programs and six songbooks form the rest of the collection.
