Addition

The working papers in this addition date between 1981 and 1994. Formats include drafts, typescripts, and reprints. Each working paper is filed in a numbered folder, arranged in numerical order. Between 1984 and circa 1994, the Center for Health Services and Policy Research produced three lists of the numbered working papers. The lists are housed in the Inventory folder, Room 110. However, in many cases the paper contained in a numbered folder does not correspond to the title of the working paper shown for that number on one or more of the lists. The numbering up to Working Paper #51 is consistent with the titles shown on all three lists, and the numbering up to #112 is consistent with the titles shown in the first published list (March, 1984), but not necessarily with either of the other two lists (issued circa 1992, up to Working Paper #276, and circa 1994, up to Working Paper # 298). Researchers are advised to be patient in searching for a title indicated on either of the two later lists. A number of empty, numbered folders indicate that many Working Papers are missing from this series. Because of the confusion of the indexes, it is not possible to identify which titles are missing.
