Folder 2
Scope and Contents
The sixty one discussion papers distributed by Northwestern University's Center for Statistics and Probability are contained in one and one-half boxes and span the period 1976-1982. The Center was created in February, 1976 to facilitate interdisciplinary research in statistics and probability. The discussion papers series was designed to report research in progress prior to its formal publication in scholarly journals. Contributors to the series were from several schools and departments at Northwestern, as well as from other institutions. The series lacks Discussion Papers #17 and #39; several other numbers exist only as photocopies.
