Scope and Contents
This series consists of a scrapbook chronicling the intercollegiate games played by the 1948 Northwestern University football team. That team went on to play in and win the 1949 Rose Bowl. The scrapbook, compiled by a Northwestern student, includes a running, handwritten narrative on the season complemented by newspaper clippings and miscellaneous souvenirs. It follows the team from their first game against UCLA through to the Rose Bowl victory over the University of California, Berkeley.
