Alpha Delta Mu–Miscellaneous Files, 1947 - 1961

This series consists of the records of two student organizations whose members were enrolled in the Program in Hospital Administration of Northwestern University's School of Business.

Included are the records of the Northwestern chapter of Alpha Delta Mu, the professional fraternity for degree candidates in Hospital Administration and the records of the Northwestern University Hospital Club.

The records of Alpha Delta Mu include copies of the chapter's charter, certificate of incorporation, by-laws, a short history of the chapter written in 1947, newsletters, lecture and luncheon announcements, membership lists, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and a few issues of the fraternity's Journal. The records span the period between 1947 and 1961 with the bulk falling between 1947-48 and 1955-58.

The records of the Hospital Club include general and committee membership lists, president's and committee reports, minutes, correspondence, and a run of the Hospital Club's publication, The Administrator. While the records span the years 1946-1958, they are most complete between 1947 and 1949, with the exception of issues of The Administrator which cover the 1950s.
