Summer Session Registration Statistics, 1993 - 1997

 File — Box: 2, Volume: 3
Identifier: Volume 3

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The series includes five bound volumes of statistical graphs and tables reflecting enrollment data pertaining to courses offered through Northwestern University's Summer Session. Those enrolled in Summer Session courses included Northwestern University undergraduate and graduate students, students in Northwestern's Continuing Education Program (University College), visiting students from other colleges and universities (known as summer specials), and professional educators wishing to further their educations. The statistics relate only to students registered for Northwestern credit in any given course. Information on students not registered for such credit is not included. Northwestern's Office of the Registrar provided the data collected in the volumes.

Typically found here are tables of enrollment averages by course and bar graphs comparing 1) course offerings per year by academic department and 2) departmental enrollments by type of student, i.e., University College, summer special, Northwestern graduate student, Northwestern undergraduate, and professional educator. Additional bar graphs depict, for each course offered, enrollment by type of student.
