The bulk of this series consists of the records of the V-7 program, including graduation lists for classes 4 to 25, class lists for classes 1 to 7 and 15, graduation programs for classes 14 to 25, and a folder of clippings. One folder contains the results of the competitive midshipmen examinations; one folder concerns academic credit in the V-7 program; one folder (labeled "V-7 General") contains miscellaneous items concerning the program. The folder labeled "V-7 Publications" contains one copy of the booklet Regulations Governing the U.S. Naval Reserve Midshipmen's School.

The series includes a small amount material related to the V-1 and V-5 programs, and other wartime programs run by Northwestern University.
