“The Good Doctor,” rehearsal materials, 2012

These files contain records from many of the Piven Theatre Workshop’s professional productions. Folders are organized chronologically by order of shows, and alphabetically when including multiple folders for one show. They include annotated scripts, source materials of adaptations, rehearsal reports, set and costume design information, actor contracts, producer binders, show programs, finance reports, and press and other marketing materials. The files track the 30-plus year artistic journey of a theatre company, as it transitioned from a small family endeavor to a major Chicago Equity theatre house.
