Evaluations, Winter, 1972
Scope and Contents
This series spans the years from 1971 through 1982 and fills fourteen boxes. Included are evaluations, in computer printout format and compiled from questionnaires completed by KGSM students, of School courses and teachers. The evaluations are expressed mathematically, usually through a series of response totals to true and false choice questions and through averages to questions requiring ranked values. For example, questions might read, “answer true or false, the content of this course was repetitious,” or “on a scale of 1 through 7, rank the instructor's command of principles and theories.” Sponsored by the KGSM Graduate Management Association, the evaluations typically focus on categories such as teacher preparation, communication skills, and knowledge; value of course assignments, examinations, readings, and texts; and course interest and career utility to students.
