The Joan Wagner Beck series consists of three boxes of Beck’s materials from Northwestern, her work as an ad writer for Marshall Field and her earlier work at the Tribune. Of note are her petition for the managing editor position at the Daily Northwestern and copies of the Sunday Chicago Tribune that contain her columns and articles. The large third box consists of Marshall Field ads saved from local newspapers.
