Scope and Contents

Series 12, [RESTRICTED] Medill Oral History Interviews by Alice Snyder, spans the years 1976 to 2004 and consists of recordings of oral histories conducted by Alice Walling Snyder, who received her master's in Speech Education from Northwestern University in 1966 and went on to work as a journalist and serve as the Editor of the Northwestern University Alumni News (1969-1973), and director of placement and alumni affairs at the Medill School of Journalism. She wrote a history of Medill titled Inventing Medill, published by Northwestern University in 1996. Alice Walling Snyder passed away in 2013. Series is restricted for interviewee privacy.
