Edward L. Nemeth Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
The Edward Nemeth scrapbook was created by Nancy Ann Myers, his wife, documenting the 1949 Rose Bowl game. The material, arranged chronologically, includes articles, photographs, and lists of players from newspapers. Of interest is the fact that many of the newspaper clippings in the scrapbook are from California newspapers, which show the other team’s perspective of the Rose Bowl and its results. The box also includes one folder containing the various pamphlets and letters relating to the 1949 Rose Bowl that were loose within the pages of the scrapbook.
