Scope and Contents

This series is comprised of the records of the Student Blood Services, a campus organization funded by Northwestern University's Student Activities Funding Board. The Student Blood Services coordinates the donation of blood to the Red Cross by volunteers from the Northwestern University community.

The series, arranged in two and one-half boxes, spans the years from 1974 to 1981. The bulk of the series is composed of individual blood donor records for the 1974/75 and 1976/77 academic years. Also included are donor statistics, lists of volunteers, general correspondence, budget information, funding petitions, and related materials. The 1978/79 president's notebook from the Interfraternity Council-Panhellenic Blood Drive Organization also is included in the records.
