Scope and Contents
Class rosters, course and lecture outlines, syllabi, and reading materials relating to the Traffic Institute's training program for transportation and distribution executives are found in this series. Materials pertaining to the 1963 and 1964 programs are included. Each program lasted approximately one month and featured lectures and discussions on problems in transportation management and related issues in economics, pricing, and labor relations. Lecturers included members of the Northwestern University faculty along with other academics as well as leading figures in private sector transportation concerns.
Not all lectures sponsored by the program are documented through course materials.

Mary Roy, Northwestern University Transportation Library, transferred these materials to the University Archives on December 17, 1990 (Accession #90-203).
