Scope and Contents
The legal, investigative, and enforcement aspects of vehicular homicide and DWI (driving while intoxicated) crimes have been the areas of study of the Traffic Institute's annual Vehicular Homicide/DWI Conference. The conference features general interest sessions for all participants as well as presentations on more specialized topics. Conference participants receive certificates of attendance from the Traffic Institute.
Conference instructional materials typically include: a roster of participants, a conference schedule, biographical sketches of conference instructors, and curricular materials. Occasionally included are brochures or announcements describing the purposes of and program sessions sponsored by the conference.
