Department of Interpretation Graduate Student Records

The Series is arranged in three subseries: E-10 Seminar Course Papers, files on Masters Degree Candidates who completed their degrees, and files on Ph.D. Candidates. The Masters Degree Candidates files typically include departmental forms charting the individual's progress, as well as a small amount of correspondence with individual candidates. The material in these files is arranged in reverse chronological order within folders. The Ph.D. Candidates files, which comprise the bulk of the series, include correspondence with candidates, and in many cases include manuscript drafts of dissertations and blue books from the Ph.D. qualifying examinations, with comments and evaluations by faculty.
