Rogers Debating Society (1897-1913) Minute Book
Scope and Contents
The Rogers Society was organized on February 18, 1897, and named after the University President at that time, Henry Wade Rogers. Unlike its predecessors, the literary societies, the Rogers Society was founded solely to promote oratorical and debating skills in the University community. This series consists of the minutes of the Rogers Debating Society from September 1904, to March 1913.
