Scope and Contents
This collection consists of some of the images used in three volumes of the Northwestern Syllabus yearbook. Most of these images were used in the 1999 (vol. 115) and 2000 (vol. 116) yearbooks; one folder contains five images used in the 2001 yearbook (vol. 117). The majority are 8"x10" black and white prints; a few are smaller prints or in color. Most of the photographs depict events, activities (including theatrical productions), and organizations (including fraternity, sorority, and residential college group photographs); there are no individual senior photographs.
While many of the images are unidentified, almost all include the page number on which they appeared in the volume. Not all pages in each volume are represented. Three folders contain unidentified and undated photographs.

Arrangement
The prints are organized by Syllabus volume year, and arranged numerically by the page number.
Method of Acquisition
This series of Syllabus photographs was transferred to the University Archives by Stacia Campbell of the Student Publishing Company on October 14, 2002, as Accession # 02-148.
